I create things.
Look around to see what I've done for clients and for fun.
I work with multitude of different technologies. Starting from web dev, through mobile, looking into games dev, stopping for a second at Augmented and Virtual Realities, testing Deep Neural Networks and Natural Language Processing.
Sometimes grabbing soldering iron and connecting Arduino through breadboard to ECU at two wheels.
When I encounter something to solve in real life, I try to figure out can I use my skills to improve workflow, simply because
I've worked on multiple projects made with Unity, both commercial and for fun. There were games (High Noon 2), apps (Leapfrog Aspect AR), Unity plugins (Splitforce), and multitude of projects for research (behavioural AI, procedural levels, flocking AI)
My mobile sampler include app with highly sensitive data for stocks, location based tracker for workers, React Native offline guide, multipeer local game and multiple utility apps.
My to-go web stack is Rails or, for smaller projects, Sinatra. I've done multiple RoR, Node, SPA apps. For the backend I worked with setting and maintaing productions servers, optimizing servers and databases, working as a Live team member on 24h support.
I try to test new tech to see how can I use it in future projects. This section includes various other experiences that didn't fit above, like being Scrum Master, Android + Motobike ECU, Person Recognition, Sleep tracker + IFTT for automatic morning coffee, Sound Controlled Fighter Game and multiple others.
What am I reading?
Tools of Titans, The Metropolitan Man
What am I working on?
I have three projects I work on free time, that helps me to maintain interest when I hit boring *cough*signup pages*cough* parts of any project.
Connect motorcycle to computer with Arduino and couple of cables.
Current progress: cables assembled, chips soldered, time for testing!
Build mirror with display behind to show cool stuff (cool stuff not defined yet). Use camera for Person Identification, microphone for voice commands.
Current progress: Update code to work with higher-end camera and microphone
I've always felt there's no good game that takes advantage of amazingness of Chinese language. I'm trying multittude of prototypes to test if I can change that.
Current progress: polish and publish Puzzle prototype. The proper game is stuck on "I need good assets" stage.
